Overview
This detailed introduction is perfect for those looking to gain the right building blocks to start teaching yin yoga and/or deepen their understanding of the practise through introspection and functional anatomical study.
Yin yoga often attracts a more experienced student or teacher that already has a base knowledge of other yogic practises/meditation practises. The practise of yin yoga involves targeting different areas of the body through long held postures, looking to deepen the sensations in the target areas/connective tissue while allowing ourselves to dive deeper into our own introspection simultaneously.
Deepening one’s awareness in skeletal variation, the meridian theory and it’s benefits related to Yin Yoga, as well as a deeper look at ourselves through stillness and meditation allows for deep transformation within your yoga practise as a student or teacher. We look forward to welcoming you.
